 1. Parquetry

Elegance is always in style. Parquetry has been used as a hard wearing, stunning floor covering for centuries. It is still as popular now as it was used for the floors of grand 15th century cathedrals. Two different styles are available : mosaic and block parquetry

Mosaic is the more traditional style of parquetry. It is created by arranging small "fingers" of selected timber in tiles, then changing the direction of these rows at consistent intervals. The result is a beautiful floor which is a feature in your home, not just a floor covering.

Block parquetry can be laid in any pattern using contrasting coloured timbers to create depth in the design. Blocks of timber are manufactured and are laid individually to create the pattern of your choice. Select from one of the many popular patterns that Myflooring offers, or run wild with your imagination and design your own floor pattern or feature block.

  • Block [ 14mm or 19mm - thick ]
  • Mosaic [ 7mm -thick ]
  • Parquetry can be installed over concrete, plywood, particleboard subfloor, or old timber floors

 2. Overlay flooring

Overlay solid hardwood timber flooring has been designed for people who love the style and warmth of a solid timber floor, but don’t have the traditional bearers-and-joists subfloor structure to work with.

Overlay is designed to be laid directly over concrete, existing timber, plywood or particleboard flooring. As long as your old floor is clean, dry and flat, you can select an overlay floor. It’s perfect for ground floor renovations over a concrete slab or second storey refurbishments where the carpet has been pulled up and the subfloor is still in place.

We recommend that overlay should not be laid directly onto concrete. Instead Myflooring fix 12mm plywood as a subfloor and then fix overlay on top.

  • 12mm tongue and groove solid timber flooring
  • 80mm~85mm widths
  • Random length from 0.6 to 2.4m
  • Can be installed over concrete plywood, particleboard subfloor,  or old timber floors

 3. Traditional T&G solid flooring

Traditional solid hardwood tongue and groove strip flooring has been used as an elegant floor covering for many years. With its warmth and classic style, this traditional flooring system is as popular today as in the past.

  • 19mm tongue and groove solid timber flooring
  • 85mm, 108mm, 130mm, 150mm 180mm widths
  • Random length from 1.2 to 4.5m
  • Can be installed over Joist, plywood, particleboard subfloor, or old timber floors

 4. Engineered flooring

Engineered flooring has been designed to take the hassle out of transforming your home with the beauty of a natural timber floor. Silkwood Engineered Flooring is constructed in a special cross-ply configuration, making it extremely stable.
It also has the added convenience of being able to be installed in a matter of hours and walked on immediately.

  • 15mm tonguel and groove prefinished engineered timber flooring
  • 80mm,133mm,166mm,  widths
  • 2400mm length
  • Can be installed over concretre, plywood or particleboard subfloor, old timber floors

 5. Laminated flooring

Surprisingly, there is no solid wood involved in the construction of laminated floorings. Most laminated flooring consists of a moisture resistant layer under a layer of HDF (high density fiberboard). This is topped with a high resolution photographic image of natural wood flooring. It is then finished with an extremely hard, clear coating made from special resin-coated cellulose to protect the laminate flooring.

Laminated flooring has the appearance of natural wood flooring and is very affordable.

  • 6mm~14mm tongue and groove prefinished laminated timber flooring
  • 80mm,133mm,166mm,  widths
  • 2400mm length
  • Can be installed over concretre, plywood or particleboard subfloor, old timber floors
